A Tradition of Label Making in Galt & Cambridge
In 1912, business partners George Turnbull and George Hancock opened the doors of the Narrow Fabric Weaving & Dyeing Co. (later George Hancock Textiles Limited), the first label and tape weaving enterprise in Cambridge, which was known as Galt at the time.
